Jill Morley's Fe-monologues, strong monologues for the female actress
EDITING
BACK TO THE GRIND!!!
Editing and Training and Editing and Training...
Editing with award winning editor, Tchavdar Giorgev, and putting the pieces back together. It has been challenging, but I know the film will be much better for it.
Started training again after my Golden Gloves fight. For those of you who weren't following, I drew PanAm Games Gold Medalist, Laura Ramirez, for my first round! It was my third fight ever and got stopped in the fourth with 20 seconds left to go. She had over 20 fights and had won a bunch of titles and was, ahem, 19. She wound up winning the Gloves...again. Honestly, while I know she is much better, younger and more experienced, I had hoped to have done better since I had been training so hard. Was difficult for me to get back into the ring.
My first time back sparring, I spazzed out and got all emotional. It was weird since that hasn't happened since I first started this madness. Luckily, I got my mojo back and am learning and training again with Marcelo Crudele. He is a super good coach and good about making me keep my right hand up. (ie. He hits me hard with a hook when I drop it!) Glad that boxing is fun again and I am on the road to finishing "Fighting It."
